The mission of the Office of the Bursar is to provide students and parents with courteous and efficient services with a high degree of sensitivity regarding students’ financial matters and to significantly contribute to the University’s fiscal well-being. 

The Office of the Bursar is responsible for the following functions:

• Billing and collecting active and inactive tuition accounts, as well as third party billings
• Providing financial counseling to assist families and make Rider an affordable choice for higher education
• Administering payment plans
• Coordinating Perkins Loan and Rider Loan repayment activities
• Coordinating collection activities with external agencies
