Study Tours Employment


Rider University Auxiliary Services seeks to employ qualified candidates for its Study Tours programs.  Two critical components to the Study Tours program are the English as a Foreign Language (EFL) Instructors and the Study Tours Counselors.  For more detailed information on these positions and information on how to apply please see below.

EFL Instructors
(position number 625025)

Rider University will hire, as temporary employees, instructors to teach their English as a foreign language curriculum at its Lawrenceville campus; Dodgertown Conference Center in Vero Beach, Florida; and at Bentely College in Waltham, Massachusetts.  Each session of students age 14-19 will be last approximately 15 days.  Class will be held Tuesday through Saturday for three hours per day (9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.) for a total of 30 hours of in-class instruction per session.  Instructors will be provided with a basic course syllabus but must be prepared to supplement based on knowledge of students.

  • Rider Experience - Lawrenceville, NJ
  • Session 1: June 18-July 2
  • Session 2: July 2-July 16
  • Session 3: July 16-July 30
  • Session 4: July 30-August 13
  • Florida Experience - Vero Beach, FL
  • Session 1: June 19-July 3
  • Session 2: July 3-July 17
  • Session 3: July 17-July 31
  • Session 4: July 31-August 14
  • Boston Experience - Waltham, MA
  • Session 1: July 8-July 22
  • Session 2: July 22-August 5
  • Session 3: August 5-August 19

Study Tours Counselors (Hiring for Summer 2008 is now complete)

Rider University Auxiliary Services is looking for energetic and personable young adults to serve as their Study Tours Counselors for their Rider, Florida and Boston Experience programs.  This position will be the first line of customer service for these all inclusive program participants arranging meals, housing, transportation, activities and excursions.  The day-to-day responsibilities of this job are many and varied.  Counselors are expected to work at least 40 hours a week including nights and weekends.  This job will create lasting memories and transferable skills.
