OIT Announcement -- Scheduled Telephone and Voicemail Outage

Date: Saturday, August 15, 2009
Time: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Services Affected: Telephone and Voicemail
Users Affected:  Westminster Campus Only

Please be advised that all telephone services, including voicemail, will be unavailable on the Westminster Choir College campus between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, while we perform required upgrades to the system.

These upgrades, once fully installed, will set the stage for a number of service enhancements such as improved call management during high call volume periods and the ability to listen to voicemail via your e-mail or the Web.

During the outage, all incoming calls will be automatically forwarded to Public Safety. Designated Emergency Phones (pay phones, previously identified fax lines, etc.) and Public Safety emergency and non-emergency numbers will remain operational.

In the event voice services remain unavailable beyond the outage period, users are encouraged to check the University homepage, Technology  Helpdesk Web page, or voicemail (609) 291-3000.
