Call for Nominations for 2009 Nancy Gray Award
University Day will take place on Tuesday, April 7. As you know, University Day is an annual celebration commemorating Rider’s transformation from a college to a university.
One of the highlights of the University Day celebration is the presentation of the Nancy Gray Award. This award is named in honor of Nancy Gray - Rider’s former vice president of Development. This award is bestowed upon a member of the Rider staff, faculty, or administration who best exemplifies the ideas of institutional leadership, school pride, and community service. These traits embody the work of Nancy Gray while at Rider University. The Nancy Gray Award has been awarded to Thomas Kelly, Greg Overend, Rev. Nancy Schluter, Kathleen Iacovelli, Dr. Hope Corman, Dr. Larry Prober, Dr. Frank Abrahams, Jamiyl Mosley, Karin Torchia, and Dr. Carol Brown.
The Nancy Gray Award Selection Committee is asking for nominations for this year’s award. Please forward to Dave Keenan, BLC 117 or keenand@rider.edu the name of a person who wish to nominate and a brief statement outlining your nominee's achievements in institutional leadership, school pride, and community service.
