Confidential Rider EthicsLine Debuts
Rider University is committed to responsible stewardship of University resources and adherence to high standards of professional conduct. For this reason, the University has contracted with EthicsPoint, an independent service, to provide a simple, anonymous way for employees to confidentially report activities that may involve improper conduct or violations of Rider University policies.
Employees may now dial Rider EthicsLine, a confidential, third-party resource, toll free at 1-888-458-6370, or online at https://secure.ethicspoint.com and click on “File a New Report.” Rider University guarantees that reports submitted through Rider EthicsLine to EthicsPoint will be investigated promptly and discreetly, and that no retaliatory action will be taken against anyone for reporting or inquiring, in good faith, about potential breaches of Rider University policies and procedures or for seeking guidance on how to handle suspected breaches.
Rider considers the concerns of employees very important and wishes to have the cooperation of all faculty and staff in resolving such issues. However, Rider EthicsLine is not meant to be a substitute for, nor does it replace, any existing reporting methods already in place at the University for reporting problems or complaints. Rider University continues to encourage employees to report concerns or suspected violations to their supervisors, Human Resources or other campus entities as appropriate.
All employees will receive additional information about Rider EthicsLine at their homes in October.
