Undergraduate Research Scholars Present Work, Recognized at Student Research Symposium

Come see the outstanding academic and creative work from students across Rider University at the Independent Scholarship and Creative Activity Presentations on Wednesday, April 30.

The fifth annual Undergraduate Research Scholars Awards will also be presented to five rising seniors and one rising junior. The new scholars will be joined by the five 2007-2008 winners, who will also present their research findings at the event.

Presentations will range from reports of laboratory studies to a musical performance to a reading from a novel in progress.

  • 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.: Two simultaneous sessions will take place in the BLC Art Gallery and BLC Theater
  • 12:30 to 2 p.m.: A poster session will take place in the BLC lobby
  • 3 p.m.: 2008-2009 Undergraduate Research Scholar Awards Presented, Sweigart Auditorium

    Each year, the URSA Committee presents $5,000 research scholarships to Rider students in the colleges of Business Administration; Liberal Arts, Education, and Sciences; Continuing Studies; and Westminster College of the Arts.
