CONNECT-ED at QUEST Summer Institute (2 weeks)

This year, CONNECT-ED sessions will be held on the Rider University campus, and QUEST sessions will be held on the Princeton University campus.  CONNECT-ED sessions for elementary, middle, and high school teachers (combined) are as follows:

  • Week One (July 7 - 11): Earth Science.  Big Idea Modules (BIMs) led by teams of elementary, middle, and high school teachers and a university or industry scientist will focus on weather, structure, dynamics and geophysical systems of the Earth.  Lead Scientist for the week is Laurel Goodell, Geosciences, Princeton University.
  • Week Two (July 14 - 18): Life Science.  Big Idea Modules led by teams of elementary, middle and high school teachers and a university or industry scientist will focus on DNA and inherited characteristics, and diversity of life.  Lead Scientist for the week is Dr. Chris Meighan, Molecular Biology, Princeton University.
