Celebrate Memorable Moments at University Day on April 10

Rider University will celebrate its colorful heritage at its 14th Annual University Day festivities on Thursday, April 10, with a daylong series of commemorative events on the Lawrenceville and Princeton campuses recognizing the day’s theme, “Memorable Moments in Rider History.”

The University Day schedule is as follows:

8:30 a.m.
The University Day Greeters, composed of varsity athletes, club-sports athletes and Greek students will welcome students, faculty, and staff to the Lawrenceville campus with donuts, “We Share Rider Pride” pins, and schedules of the day's activities.

11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
University Day Luncheon (see below for more details)

4 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Special University Day Campus Shuttle between the Princeton and Lawrenceville campuses

4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
University Day Dinner
Dining Common (Princeton campus)

5:15 p.m.
Residence Hall Association Battle of the Buildings Soccer Tournament
Richard E. Daly Intramural Fields

5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
University Day Celebration
The Great Plain (Princeton campus)

9 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Andrew J. Rider/John Finley Williamson (121st) Birthday Party

The University Day Luncheon schedule is as follows:

11 a.m.
A Dixieland band, juggler and stilt walker will entertain members of the campus community outside of Daly Dining Hall while caricaturists will create humorous likenesses inside Daly, which will also feature a disk jockey spinning a different musical genre every 20 minutes, beginning with tunes from the 1950s.

Rider University Trivia Game Show – First Round

Presentation of the Nancy Gray Award
The award, named for Nancy Gray, former vice president for development and university relations, honors a member of the faculty or staff who exemplifies campus leadership, involvement, school pride/spirit and community service.
