Westminster Family Weekend Schedule is Now Available

On Friday, October 24 and Saturday, October 25, Westminster Choir College will celebrate its Family Weekend on the Princeton campus. 

Friday, October 24

Classes Open from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and include the following choir rehearsals:

  • Schola Rehearsal   Bristol Chapel from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 
  • Enjoy Lunch in the Dining Commons from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. 
  • Chapel Choir Rehearsal  Bristol Chapel from 1:10 to 2 p.m.
  • Westminster Choir Rehearsal  Talbott 4/5 or Playhouse from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
  • Williamson Voices Rehearsal  Bristol Chapel from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
  • Enjoy Dinner in the Dining Commons from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
  • Coffeehouse in the Playhouse from 8 to 9 p.m.

 

Saturday, October 25

  • Family Weekend Check In in Thayer Lounge from 9 to 11 a.m.
  • Voice Master Class in the Playhouse Featuring Elem Eley from 10 to 10:50 a.m.
  • Piano Master Class in Williamson Featuring James Goldsworthy 11to11:50 a.m. 
  • Concert Bells Rehearsal in the Playhouse from noon to 1 p.m.
  • Faculty-Student Showcase location to be determined from noon to 2 .m.
  • Jubilee Rehearsal in Bristol Chapel from 1 to 1:30 p.m.
  • Music Theater Rehearsal in the Playhouse 2 to 3:30 p.m.
  • Opera Theater Open Rehearsal in Williamson Hall from 4:30 p.m.
  • Dinner Available in the Dining Commons from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
  • Family Dessert Reception in Williamson Hall from 6 to 7 p.m.
    Hosted by Alumni Council
  • Chapel Choir Concert at Princeton High School beginning at 7:30 p.m.
  • Family Weekend Finale  Princeton High School Lobby at 9:15 p.m. 

Please note: The Symphonic Choir will perform Mozart's "Requiem" and Arvo Part's "Te Deum" at the Princeton University Chapel on Friday, October 24, at 8 p.m.  This performance is not a part of the Family Weekend package but, tickets may be purchased at the Westminster Box Office, 609 - 921-2663.
