Datatel (Colleague) Security Changes

Datatel will only allow access to the screens specified in a user’s security profile.  In order to obtain the permission to access screens, security must have appropriate University approval.  Completion of this form facilitates the approval process and ensures user access is granted in a timely manner. A supervisor can complete this form for the staff member or the staff member can complete this request independently.

Here is some information you will need to know:

  • Your Easypass Username and password to log in.
  • If the user is replacing someone or is a new user, know the general business unit the user is associated with, for example:
    • Academic Affairs
    • President’s Office
    • Enrollment Management
    • Admissions
    • Bursar
    • Student Financial Aid
    • Student Affairs
    • Athletics
    • University Advancement
    • Public Safety
  • If a change in a user’s current security is needed or the user is new, know the screen(s) needed and/or the type of information for which access is needed, for example:
    • Residence Life
    • Bio / Demographic
    • Admissions
    • Academic
    • Faculty
    • Student Financial Aid
    • Cashier
    • Billing
