Internships

An Internship is an opportunity for students to gain pre-professional work experiencing an area of interest or career related field.

An internship is similar to a job and should be considered a work-integrated learning experience by both the student and the employer.

Opportunities for internships can be in the summer, fall, winter break, spring or for the entire year, depending on the employer’s needs.

While internships can be paid experiences or have stipends, some positions are unpaid.

At Rider, internships are offered as noncredit-bearing or for academic credit.
