Description = Health Benefits Administrator located in Central New Jersey is looking for an Underwriter to join its team.  Description of Duties:  A. In this role, you will analyze program data and develop actuarially sound rate quotations for new business and renewals. You will also prepare benefit cost projections for alternative benefit designs and various funding mechanisms. B. As part of the Company’s underwriting team, develop and present underwriting recommendations to Senior Management. Qualifications = The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:  1.    Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics, business or underwriting related field 2. Proven self-starter with excellent computer skills with strengths in Excel, data analysis and extraction, and analytical modeling 3. Good organization and analytical skills, and detail oriented  4. Underwriting or insurance experience in health benefits, especially pharmacy and/or vision a plus
