Environmental Lab Technician

Location:   Provincetown  MA

The Provincetown Center for Coastal Studies is accepting applications for an Environmental Laboratory Technician for Cape Cod Bay Monitoring Program (CCBMP), studying water quality of inshore and offshore waters of Cape Cod Bay. Duties include: field sampling, sample processing and analysis, quality control procedures, instrument calibration and data management. The following parameters are routinely measured: nitrates, ortho-phosphates, total nitrogen, total phosphorous, chlorophyll, turbidity, pH and dissolved oxygen.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in science. Candidates must possess strong field, laboratory and computer skills. Part-time to start, possibly full-time in future. Health benefits available.
