Washington Township Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Teacher for September 1. 2008, grades 6,7  and 8 Chestnut Ridge Middle School.

Required Criteria:
NJ Teacher of Handicapped Certification
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of middle school age students
Excellent academic credentials and references
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and classroom management skills
Understanding of NJ Special Education Regulations.IEP process

Preferred Criteria:
Computer proficiency desirable
Knowledge of middle school age special needs students
Teacher of Reading certification
Understanding of Wilson Reading

Salary: ILn accordance with the provisions of the Agreement between Washington Township Board of Education and the Washigton Township Education Association.
