Position_Description = Chubb has maintained its reputation and financial stability with underwriting expertise, unparalleled customer service, unique industry-specific specialization and a deep respect for all of our employees. We are currently looking to fill an Accounting Rotation position in our Warren, NJ location, to begin after graduation. This one-year program allows the incumbent to move through the various sections of the Accounting Department. It is unique in that it provides an understanding of functions, objectives and inter-relationships of the various sections. The Accounting Rotational, upon completion of each section will receive feedback on performance. At the end of the year, the Rotational will be placed in an available staff opening within the Department.
Qualifications = The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting. Minimum grade point average overall and in major 3.0 preferred. Requires ability to maintain pertinent documentation; ability to assess and recommend new procedures and strategies; strong organizational skills; ability to plan, prioritize and complete multiple tasks in at timely and effective manner; demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with management and other staff members. Technical knowledge and understanding of the Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc) and ability to learn and effectively utilize other Accounting systems. Relocation Benefits are not available for this position.
