Position: Social Studies Teacher - TCH-0088
Grade 6 - Bunker Hill Middle School

Required Criteria:

• NJ Teacher of Social Studies certification or Elementary certification with middle school social studies endorsement
• Highly qualified in Social Studies
• Understanding of State Assessments
• Understanding of NJ Core Curriculum Standards
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, organizational and classroom management skills
• Excellent academic credentials

Preferred Criteria:

• Dual certification in Elementary Education and Social Studies
• Knowledge of technology as it relates to instruction
• Experience with Middle School age students

Salary: In accordance with the provisions of the Agreement between the Washington Township Board of Education and the Washington Township Education Association.
