Resident Assistant

Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth Summer Programs

The role of a Resident Assistant in the Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth's summer programs is to care for, supervise and engage academically talented students ages 10-18 at all times when they are not in class. This includes organizing activities and events, responding to emergency situations, fostering community among students, and helping students build connections between their academic experience and life outside the classroom.  More information aboutis available at: www.cty.jhu.edu/summer/employment.

Requirements = College GPA of 3.2 or better and experience working with children. Experience as a camp counselor or college RA desired but not required.

hours = Full Time, residential position
wage = $2400 for six weeks (two, three-week sessions)
