Description = We seek an entry-level Programmer/Analyst to actively participate in the development and ongoing support of  business applications. The successful candidate will perform design, programming, testing, documentation and implementation of new applications, as well as enhancements to existing applications with guidance from senior staff.  Job Functions: •  Develops new systems and applications with guidance from senior staff (creating project plans, gathering customer input and feedback, designing specifications, testing and debugging programs, and writing documentation) to meet GSF systems needs. •  Provides support and assistance for all computer-related systems (software, hardware, and communications) to maximize the efficiency and productivity of GSF employees and operations. •  Programs, tests, and maintains applications and system programs to enhance GSF operations.  • Evaluates and develops value-added features and programmatic solutions to facilitate data processing and expedite reporting needs of computer users.  • Monitors and maintains system data and resources to ensure that system information is available and accessible to computer users 

Qualifications = • Technical Skills:  • Essential qualifications include: •  • Knowledge of computer programming languages strongly preferred   Degree required, preferably in Computer Science or Business Administration  Excellent oral and written communication skills  Ability to identify problems and irregularities for early resolution  Ability to interact effectively with employees at all organizational levels
