Contract Specialist

Army Contracting Command

Army Contracting Command provides global contracting capability to support of warfighter needs across the full spectrum of military operations. One of the benefits of the ACC will be its contracting capability whether it be installation level contracting; research and development; weapons systems production or sustainment and maintenance.  This comprehensive contracting capability will allow the Army to develop multi-skilled contracting professionals who will step up and support the contracting needs of any military operation.  You will have an opportunity to work in any one of over 200 sites world-wide.

Contrast Specialists are responsible for acquiring goods and services in support of Army operations.  They perform a wide range of contracting functions to include pre-award, contract administration, contract termination and post-award activities.  AC employs approximately 5,500 employees and awards over 270,000 contracts.

Eligibility Requirements:  US Citizenship; 4-year College Degree; 24 Semester Hours of Business-Related credits; Related Experience.
