THE ASSISTANT MANAGER’S JOB DESCRIPTION IS AS FOLLOWS:
- Customer Service: direct contact with customers, provide excellent customer service.
- Extend hospitality toward customers
- Educate the customers with regard to our product line
- Create a relationship, in order to bring the customer back
- Visiting local businesses to grow the business
- Diversified position: Assistant Managers are involved in product preparation, staffing, inventory control, hands-on projects, etc.
- Supervision of staff: normally 8-10 people, yet up to 40 plus at holiday time
- Handling increased holiday responsibilities (Christmas and Easter)
- Daily and weekly accounting
- Planning and projections
- In general, the responsibilities involved in running a small business
