Princeton Housing

At Westminster Choir College, all full-time freshmen and sophomores are required to live on campus, and on-campus housing is guaranteed for the first two years. The Princeton campus offers housing in three residence halls, each of which provides a unique living environment for its residents. Single-sex floors are available, as well as halls that are co-educational by floor or by suite. Most rooms are designed for two occupants, but some triple rooms are available. Each hall has its own laundry facilities and practice facilities. Most first year students will be placed in Seabrook Hall.

 

 

 


Seabrook Hall

Seabrook is a traditional collegiate hall with rooms located along long corridors  Common bathroom facilities are centrally located on each floor.  The first and third floors house women, while the second floor houses men.  The amenities of Seabrook include:

  • Practice rooms in the basement

  • A large lounge with a big screen TV, entertainment systems, pool table and game table.

  • A kitchen (stove, oven, refridgerator, microwave, sink)

Each student will receive a bed frame, mattress, desk, desk chair and/or closet.  The typical dimenions of a room in Seabrook are 12' X16"


Dayton and Ithaca Halls

The DIPS (Dayton, Ithaca, Prnceton Halls) is a semi-detached complex currently serves a dual purpose. Dayton and Ithaca are used for housing, while Princeton is the home of the Westminster's community music school (Westminster Conservatory). Floors in Dayton and Ithaca are co-ed, with each half of the floor housing men or women.  All floors are arranged in three room groupings (suites), with two suites sharing a common bathroom.  The DIPS primarily houses upperclass students, so space for first-year students is limited.  The amentities of the DIPS include:

  • Practice rooms in the basement.

  • Floor lounges with large screen TVs, entertainment systems, microwaves, refridgerators (first floor only), kitchen area (with sink, but no stoves/ovens)

Each student will receive a bed frame, mattress, desk, desk chair, a dresser and a closet.  The typical dimiensions of a room in the DIPS are 12'X 15"
