Summer and Break Housing

BREAK HOUSING APPLICATION

THANKSGIVING BREAK

The residence halls will be closing for Thanksgiving Break on Wednesday,
November 25, 2009 at Noon, and will reopen on Sunday, November 29, 2009 at 12 Noon. If you require housing at any point during the break, please complete this application online no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, November 20, 2009.

HOUSING DURING BREAK IS AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS WHO:

(1) Have a church job (i.e., return Saturday night for a Sunday morning church job)

(2)Live more than 10 hours from campus, including living abroad

(3)Are of independent status

APPLICATION FOR THANKSGIVING BREAK 2009

WINTER BREAK

The residence halls will be closing for Winter Break on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Noon.  If you require housing between December 23, 2009 and January 21, 2010, please complete this application online no later than 5 p.m. on Wednesday, December 9 2009.

The residence halls are closed to ALL resident students between Dec. 25, 2009 and Jan. 2, 2010

Residents approved to remain in housing between December 23 - 25, 2009 will not be charged.

**Residents (except for those with church jobs) approved to remain in housing between January 2 - 21, 2010 will be charged $15 per day (with a maximum charge of $90).

Residents with church jobs will not be charged for any portion of Winter Break.

December 25, 2009—access to the halls will be shut off at 2 p.m.

January 2, 2010—access to the halls will be turned on at 12 Noon

SUMMER HOUSING 2010

Priority for summer housing goes to current students taking summer classes at Westminster or working full-time on campus.  Current students who are working off campus are eligible for on campus housing, but do not receive priority.  All students living on campus for the summer will be housed on the first floor of Ithaca.  The charge for summer housing will be posted in the late spring (meal plan not included in this rate).  If you would like to request housing for the summer, please visit this page in the spring time a summer housing contract will be available for download.   Please keep in mind that space is very limited, and students taking classes will receive priority.
