Reunion Class Giving

Support of a reunion giving program is an important component of reunion celebrations.  While providing a powerful impetus for increased financial support, the Reunion Giving Campaigns also help to strengthen individual and class ties with the University by renewing shared class feelings of pride and loyalty.

Members of the Class of 1956 have the opportunity to support the Connecting Generations Scholarship.  This award was established in 2004 by the classes of 2004 and 1954 to create a tradition of support whereby each graduating class "connects" with each 50th reunion class to add to the endowment for this scholarship.  The award is present each year at commencement to an upcoming senior who demonstrates academic excellence and discipline, strong leadership qualities, and pride in the University.

Members of the 10th, 25th and 40th reunion classes are also encouraged to support Rider University by making special "leap" gifts in honor of their milestone celebration.

Each generation benefits from the generosity of its predecessors and in turn accepts the challenge to provide those same benefits to those who follow.  Through your support of your reunion giving campaign, you acknowledge the unique aspects of a Rider education and exemplify tremendous pride in the past and excitement for what the future will bring to this cherished institution.
