Intercultural Greek Council
Purpose of the Intercultural Greek Council
The purpose of the IGC shall be to serve as a supervisory and governing board of all of all Intercultural Greek organizations at Rider University. Primary functions shall be to advise and assist intercultural Greek letter organizations in establishing and monitoring any changes with the chapter roster, promoting scholastic achievement, organizing community service events, maintaining high standards of conduct, facilitating social and recreational activities among its members, and promoting the growth and expansion of the Intercultural Greek community by assisting potential new groups to complete the expansion process.
The IGC addresses the importance of creating cultural and ethnic awareness and acknowledges that there is a need for people holding similar views to support the advancement of the Intercultural Greek community.
