As a Student Government, we are here to lobby and carry out your plans to improve your campus experience: Students serving students since 1969. As a student, ask yourself, "What can student government do for me?"

Our Mission
It is the mission of the Student Government Association to passionately advocate the wants, desires, dreams and needs of the undergraduate students in all endeavors. We will accomplish this mission by:

  • Recognizing that integrity is paramount to our success
  • Serving students through collaboration with all facets of Rider University including the outside community
  • Fostering community development and valuing our diverse population  


SGA News & Events

Now Accepting Applications for Bronc Aides! Applications are available from the Office of Campus Life.
         They are due by 5p.m. Friday, October 30, 2009.

• Cranberry King begins this week. The court will be announced Wednesday, October 4, 2009.

• Black Student Union Pride Week all week:
   Tuesday 8:p.m.-10:p.m., ‘Eva’s Documentary’ in Sweigart Hall Rm. 115
   Thursday 8:p.m.-10:p.m. ‘Remembering New Orleans: Mardi Gras’ in the BLC

• Sunday, November 1, 2009 on Rider Campus- VOX and the Rider Runners will be hosting a 5K Fun Run/Walk to benefit Womanspace, a non-profit agency serving victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Registration begins at 9:00a.m.; Race at 11:15a.m.. Any donation will be greatly accepted.

• Tuesday, November 10, 2009- 10p.m.: Delta Phi Epsilon is putting on a talent show that is open to everyone. $100 First Place Prize, $10 dollars for entry, $3
• Cranberry King begins this week. The court will be announced Wednesday. Friday at 8:00p.m. Trivia and Costume Contest

• Friday, November 13, 2009- Phi Sigma Sigma is having a Kickball Tournament from 3:30p.m. to 6:30p.m..

• DAARSTOC is now accepting applications for the Spring Semester. The Deadline is November 6, 2009.
