Joseph Stokes Elementary School

History
Opened in September 1952, with the money donated by Joseph Oliver Stokes.  The donation was in memory of his son Joseph Stokes who died while a student at Princeton University.  There are 444 Students currently enrolled.

Joseph Stokes Memorial School Pledge:

Mission Statement
The staff of Stokes School believes that all students can learn and achieve mastery of basic grade level skills regardless of their previous academic performance, family background, socio-economic status, race and/or gender.

Objectives
Bonner students tutor 4th and 5th grade children from Joseph Stokes Elementary School.
They are tutored in Math and Science for the purpose of improving the children’s standardized test scores.

Hours of Operation:
Tuesday – Thursday: 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm
Saturday Mornings: 9:00 am to 11:30 am
