Off Campus Living and Commuter Life

Activities:

Resources/Services:

Even if you don’t live at Rider, you’re an important part of the community. Although we are big on independence, we also believe that independence thrives in the context of a larger community where people can nurture your strengths and bolster your weaknesses. Join the Association of Commuter Students for Commuter Coffee Breaks. Find out how you can get involved in the Rider community and make the most of your time here!

  • Office of Off Campus Living, Lawrenceville
The Office of Off Campus Living is part of the Office of Campus Life. The Director of Campus Activities and the Commuter Assistants are here to help you with all of your commuter needs!

  • Association of Commuter Students
(ACS) sponsors Rider campus activities and events, and provides a forum for your concerns and issues. In addition, it’s a great way to meet friends who share your experience as a commuting student. The Association of Commuting Students is located behind the Cavalla Room in the Student Government suite (Room 131) on the first floor of the Bart Luedeke Center. The Commuter Lounge is next to the ACS office, and offers students a place to “hang out”, have lunch, meet fellow commuter students, and watch TV/videos. For more information, and to find a list of Officers for the Association of Commuting Students, visit the ACS Web site.
