Rider at NCAA Zone Championships

PISCATAWAY—Three members of the Rider University diving teams are competing this weekend at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships, hosted by Rutgers University.

For the Broncs, junior Dylan Korn (Hawthorne, N.Y./Westlake) placed 15th in the finals of the one-meter (511.20) with sophomore Amanda Burke (Churchville, Pa./William Tennett) finishing 22nd in the preliminaries of the three-meter (216.25) and senior Shannen Kahler (Ojai, Calif./Chaparral/Grossmont CC) placing 31st in the three-meter preliminaries (192.70).  Korn’s score was only four points out of the 10th position in the finals.

Competition concludes on Saturday with the men’s three-meter and the women’s one-meter.
