Thomas Carr, the former assistant coach at Hamilton High School West, returns for a third season with the program as a volunteer assistant coach.

Carr was a catcher for William Paterson University in the mid-1990s, and his 1995 team advanced to the Division III World Series. Carr served as an assistant coach at Mercer Community College and Hamilton High West. He led Hamilton to the 2000 New Jersey Group III State Championship.

“It is a great situation for Rider to have someone with his desire to be a part of our program," said Davis. “He is a team guy and will play an important role in any success we may have. Tom will coach the catchers and coach first base during the games.”

“It is an honor to be part of Rider University and Coach Barry Davis’ staff,” said Carr. “I feel Coach Davis can take this program to new heights and I feel I can assist in the future success of this program.”
