Rider’s Riverso Honored by MAAC
Eight Broncs All-Academic Team

LAWRENCEVILLE—Rider University senior goalkeeper Dan Riverso was named to the second team All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference soccer team, it was announced at the championship tournament Wednesday night.

Eight of his teammates were named to the MAAC All-Academic team; senior Adam Bailey, junior Michael Colozzi, sophomore Jesse Forsythe, senior Tim Jones, sophomore Michael Juska, senior Jacob Kratt, sophomore AJ Parillo and junior Lee Tomasso.

Riverso (Williamstown), who was recently named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week and the Eastern College Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week, led the MAAC with 91 saves this season and was third in the conference in shutouts with four.

In the season-ending win over Manhattan, Riverso compiled his 10th career shutout in his final collegiate game.

Riverso was the Preseason All-MAAC goalie this year.

Bailey (Southampton, Pa./Archbishop Wood) compiled a 3.20 as a Business Administration major. Colozzi (Shillington, Pa./Gov. Mifflin) has a 3.24 as a Business Administration major. Forsythe (Costa Mesa, Calif.) is a Political Science major with a 3.66.  Jones (Mechanicsburg, Pa.) is a Finance major with a 3.37 GPA.  Juska (Wall) has a 3.30 as a Business major. Kratt (Moorestown) has a 3.50 as a Management major. Parillo (South River) is a Global Business major with a 3.64. Tomasso (Westfield) has a 3.81 GPA as an Accounting major.
