Rider’s Avramovic Preseason All-MAAC

LAWRENCEVILLE—Nastasja Avramovic, a junior defensive specialist on the 2006 Rider University volleyball team, was named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Preseason Team in a poll voted on by the league’s 10 head coaches.

Avramovic (Philadelphia, Pa./Northeast), a business and advertising major, appeared in 92 games for the Broncs, leading the team in digs and was third on the team in service aces.

The volleyball team was recently honored for its academic performance, with every member of the team achieving a 3.00 GPA or higher during the spring 2006 semester. 

The Broncs begin the 2006 campaign at the Colgate Invitational August 25-26.
