Rider’s Fenlator at NCAA Regional

GREENSBORO, NC--Junior Jazmine Fenlator (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley) placed seventh in her flight and 20th overall in the shot put Friday at the NCAA Regional Track & Field Championships, hosted by North Carolina A & T.  "Jazmine is a little bit disappointed," said Rider coach Rob Pasquariello.  "Her PR would have qualified for finals, and that was her goal today."

Fenlator threw the shot 45’3.75” on Friday. Her personal and Rider record of 48’8.25”, set at the ECAC Championships, would have placed 10th at the NCAA Regional.

Fenlator competes in her best event, the discus, on Saturday.

"We are expecting a big day tomorrow (Saturday)," said Pasquariello.  "The discus is her best event and she is ready to have a big day."
