13 Broncs MAAC All-Academic
LAWRENCEVILLE—Nine members of the Rider University women’s outdoor track & field team and four members of the men’s team were named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Academic team.
From the women’s team, which placed runner-up at the outdoor MAAC Championships, junior Allyson Angelo (Brick), junior Katie Chin (Jackson), sophomore Elizabeth Clatch (Drums, Pa.), sophomore Rebecca Clatch (Drums, Pa.), senior Krystle Daniels (Brooklyn, N.Y.), junior Jazmine Fenlator (Wayne), sophomore Savannah Knox (Jackson), sophomore Jessica Marcasciano (Egg Harbor) and senior Ashley Miller (Lebanon, Pa.) were honored.
From the men’s team, which also placed second at the outdoor MAAC Championships, junior Doug Beck (Branchburg), sophomore Vadim Menzorov (Jackson), sophomore Randy Nixon (Manorville, N.Y.) and junior David Payne (Neptune) were honored.
Angelo is a Political Science major with a 3.34 grade point average, Chin is a Elementary Education/Psychology major with a 3.26, Liz Clatch is an Accounting major with a 3.63, Rebecca Clatch is an Accounting major with a 3.60, Daniels is a Management and Leadership major with a 3.41, Fenlator is a Journalism major with a 3.49, Knox is an Accounting/Finance major with a 3.29, Marcasciano is an Elementary Education/Psychology major with a 3.45 and Miller is a Finance major with a 3.79 grade point average.
Beck is a Computer Information Systems major with a grade point average of 3.65. Menzorov is a Global Business major with a 3.71, Nixon is a Finance major with a 3.29 and Payne is a Finance major with a 3.60 grade point average.
