Six Broncs All-Academic
LAWRENCEVILLE—Six members of the Rider University tennis teams were named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Academic team.
Senior Dana Previti (Egg Harbor) and juniors Kelly-Ann Chouinard (White Hall, MD) and Caitlin Crawbuck (Jacobstown) from the Rider women’s team (11-7) were honored, while senior Dan Stupp (Harrisburg, PA) and sophomores Tom Becker (Cinnaminson) and James Leone (Forked River) were honored from the men’s team (10-12).
Previti compiled a 3.59 grade point average as a Journalism major, and was 8-5 in singles play this year. Chouinard has a 3.24 g.p.a. while majoring in Business Administration, and was 6-3 in singles this season. Crawbuck compiled a 3.69 g.p.a. as an English Literature major and was 11-6 at second singles this year.
Stupp is an Accounting major with a 3.59 grade point average, and was 6-4 in singles this year. Becker owns a 3.36 g.p.a. as a Biopsychology major, and was 3-1 in doubles and 1-1 in singles this season. Leone is an English/Biology double-major with a 3.65 g.p.a. and was 9-4 in singles this year.
