Fenlator, Poalise Rider Athletes of Month

            LAWRENCEVILLE—Jazmine Fenlator of the track & field team, and Mike Poalise of the baseball team, have been named the Rider University Athletes of the Month for all competition in March.

            Poalise, a senior from Hammonton, collected 25 hits and 11 RBI and scored 13 runs in 18 games in March, batting a team-high .379 for the month.  The Bronc centerfielder, Poalise owned a slugging percentage of .424 and an on base percentage of .447 in March, while running down 53 fly balls.

            Fenlator, a junior from Wayne (Wayne Valley), began the month by earning All-East honors for the indoor season, while setting a new Rider record in the wt. throw. Fenlator ended the month by setting an outdoor record and qualifying for the NCAA Regionals in the shot put.

            Fenlator also qualified for the ECAC Championships in the discus, and placed second at the Monmouth Outdoor Season Opener in the shot put.
