Swimming Siblings in Sports Illustrated

Rider University swimmers Brandon and Priscilla Modrov will be featured in the March 27th issue of Sports Illustrated Faces in the Crowd segment.

At the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Swimming & Diving Championships freshman Priscilla was named the MAAC Women’s Most Outstanding Swimmer, and her brother, junior Brandon, was named the MAAC Men’s Most Outstanding Swimmer, leading Rider to a pair of runner-up finishes while setting Rider team records in each of their events.

 

Priscilla set MAAC records in winning the 200 freestyle (1:53.69), the 400 individual medley (4:27.84) and the 200 individual medley (2:05.92), and swam on the MAAC record setting 800 free relay.

 

Brandon won the 400 individual medley with a MAAC record time (3:59.75), won the 200 breaststroke (2:03.88) and the 200 individual medley (1:52.01), and swam on four winning relays, and was named to the MAAC All-Academic team.
