    Tricia Crotty

In a season that featured 11 one-goal games, why should today be any different? The Broncs lost a Northeast Conference game at Lock Haven on Sunday and will be the fourth seed in the conference tournament, hosted by the Eagles Friday and Saturday, November 3-4.

    October 27, 2006 - Rider 1 St. Francis-PA 0

    Stephanie Walker

Rolling a seven.  When in Atlantic City, it could be considered lucky.  When in Loretto, Pennsylvania, it’s anything but luck.  Try some hard work and determination.  Playing with what has been viewed as one of her youngest teams ever at Rider, head coach Lori Hussong and the Rider (12-5, 5-2 NEC) Broncs qualified for the Northeast Conference playoffs for the seventh season in a row, with a hard fought 1-0 win at St. Francis in a driving rain storm.

    October 22, 2006 - Sacred Heart 3 Rider 2 (2ot)

    Mandy Hunter

The only stat that matters is the final score.  The Broncs dominated Sacred Heart on Sunday, holding a 35-16 advantage in shots, including 20-4 in the second half. The result? A 3-2 Northeast Conference loss in double overtime to the Pioneers.

    October 13, 2006 - Rider 5 Robert Morris 0

    Tricia Crotty

Home, home on the range. Well, it’s more like a grass field than a range. Home sweet home? Maybe. Sweet home Alabama? No Rider’s home is in New Jersey. There’s no place like home? Definitely! After playing on campus for only the second time this season, the Broncs will go with any phrase you can come up with after defeating Robert Morris 5-0 on Friday in a Northeast Conference game.

The big ‘50’.  For a goalie still coming of age in her senior season, it is a milestone that few have accomplished in the history of the sport on the collegiate level.

    September 16, 2006 - Rider 3 Rhode Island 1

    Tricia Crotty
