November 3, 2007 - Lock Haven 3 Rider 1 (NEC Finals)

The Rider field hockey season came to an end with a loss to top seeded and tournament host Lock Haven in the Northeast Conference Championship game, held at the Charlotte Smith Field on the Lock Haven campus Saturday. “At the beginning of the season we were very young, with only four starters back from last year, so we are very proud that we made it this far,” said Rider head coach Lori Hussong.

November 2, 2007 - Rider 3 Sacred Heart 1 (NEC Semifinals)

For the seventh time in eight seasons, the Rider University field hockey team has advanced to the Northeast Conference championship game, having defeated the Sacred Heart Pioneers 3-1 on Friday in the NEC semifinals.  “We played really well as a team,” said head coach Lori Hussong.  “I feel that we are playing our best field hockey of the season right now.”

November 1, 2007 - LoCastro Northeast Conference Goalie of the Year / Five Broncs All-Conference Honors

Rider University senior Jennifer LoCastro was named the Northeast Conference Goalkeeper of the Year and was one of three Broncs named First Team All-NEC it was announced by the conference office Thursday night.  “J-Lo stepped up and was an outstanding leader for us this season,” said head coach Lori Hussong.
