The Broncs lost to the Hawks in a non-conference match Wednesday afternoon. “It’s tough to start out so short handed,” said head coach Ed Torres. “The matches we were in were for the most part competitive and the players gave a good effort.” |

Despite a win at first doubles and taking two singles matches to the third set, the Broncs were swept at Manhattan in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference match Sunday afternoon. “The number one doubles team played very well,” said head coach Ed Torres. “They took a decent Manhattan doubles team and defeated them.” |

Both the Rider men’s and women’s tennis teams were swept at Fairleigh Dickinson Wednesday in a non-conference match. “It is a great experience for us to play a strong team like FDU,” said head coach Ed Torres. “By playing better teams, you yourself get better as a player.” |
