Wrestling

January 19, 2008 - Rider 48 Campbell 3 / Rider 28 Binghamton 13 (CAA Duals)

Doug Umbehauer

The Broncs swept Campbell and Binghamton on day two of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Duals hosted this weekend by George Mason University.  Rider finished 2-2 in the two-day event.  “Our success this weekend will make us sharper for the conference championships next month,” said head coach Gary Taylor.  “And we'll need to be.  Just because we beat a wrestler today does not mean we’ll beat the same opponent next month at CAA's.  All of the conference wrestlers are very good and if you aren’t both physically and mentally up to the task, they can turn around and beat you.”

January 18, 2008 - George Mason 25 Rider 17 / #12 Hofstra 27 Rider 18 (CAA Duals) / Fisch Wins #100

Don Fisch

The Broncs lost to host George Mason before losing to nationally ranked Hofstra at the sixth annual Colonial Athletic Association Duals Friday night. “We didn’t wrestle very well tonight,” said Rider head coach Gary Taylor. “We looked sluggish.”

January 12, 2008 - Lehigh 21 Rider 12

T.J. Morrison

Broncs won four bouts but it was not enough to defeat Lehigh in the consolation bracket of the Virginia Duals Saturday morning.
