Rider’s Umbehauer, CAA Rookie of Week

 

            LAWENCEVILLE—Doug Umbehauer of Rider University have been named the Colonial Athletic Association Rookie of the Week, for all competition the last week of January.

            Umbehauer, a freshman 174 from Shamong, NJ (Lenape), won both of his bouts last week, including a fall that helped Rider defeat Rutgers 26-15. The third ranked 174 in the CAA, Umbehauer improves to 13-4 overall.
