Rider’s Korn MAAC Diver of Week

LAWRENCEVILLE—Rider University sophomore Dylan Korn (Hawthorne, N.Y./Westlake) was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Diver of the Week for all competition January 17-23.

In a Rider victory at Drexel, Korn broke the Rider record in the 1-meter dive with a score of 294.45. The old Rider record was 274.85, also the MAAC Championship record, set in 2003 by Rob Baier.

Korn is the defending MAAC Champion in the 1-meter, and last year was named the ECAC Championships Diver of the Meet when he won both the one-meter and the three-meter events.

The Rider Swimming & Diving teams host Iona Saturday at 11:00 am.
