May 16, 2006 - Rider’s Dalgewicz Retires / Associate AD, Golf Coach

Chet Dalgewicz of Stockton, the Rider University Associate Director of Athletics since 1991, has announced he is retiring, effective June 30.

April 30, 2006 - 4th at MAAC's - Dalgewicz MAAC Coach of the Year

The Rider University golf team shot a 305 on Sunday for a three-day total of 927 to place fourth of nine teams at the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Golf Championships, held at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex. “Sometimes you just have to tip your hat to your opponent,” said Rider head coach Chet Dalgewicz.  “We played well Saturday and today, but some of the other teams just played better. We dug ourselves a hole on the first day that turned out to be too big to recover from.”

April 29, 2006 - at MAAC's - Day Two

The Rider University golf team shot a 305 on Saturday, the best round of the tournament, for a two-day total of  622 to move up from fifth to second place in the three-day Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Golf Championships, held at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex. “We had a much better day today, as expected,” said Rider head coach Chet Dalgewicz.

April 28, 2006 - at MAAC's - Day One

The Rider University golf team shot a 317 Friday in the first round of the three-day Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Golf Championships, held at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex. “There’s a lot more golf to be played,” said Rider head coach Chet Dalgewicz, “and we WILL play better tomorrow.”

April 15, 2006 - 2nd of 15 at Navy Invitational

The Broncs shot a 289 on Saturday, the lowest round of the tournament, for a two-day total of 585 to finish second in the 15 team-field Navy Spring Invitational, held at the United States Naval Academy Golf Course. “Finishing second in a field like this shows our kids really want to compete with the best,” said Rider head coach Chet Dalgewicz.  “To fire the kind of numbers we did this weekend was outstanding.”

April 14, 2006 - 6th of 15 at Navy Invitational after Day One

The Broncs shot a 296 on Friday and are in 6th place in the 15 team-field after the first day of the two-day Navy Spring Invitational, held at the United States Naval Academy Golf Course. “We’re in the hunt,” said Rider head coach Chet Dalgewicz. “296 is a nice score on this course.”

April 9, 2006 - 4th of 14 - at Princeton Invitational

The Broncs shot a 292 on Sunday to jump from seventh to a fourth place finish in the 14-team Princeton Invitational, held Saturday and Sunday at the Springdale Golf Club. “To move up from seventh to fourth in this field speaks volumes of how far we’ve come as a program,” said Rider head coach Chet Dalgewicz.

April 8, 2006 - 7th of 14 - at Princeton Invitational - Day One

The Broncs are currently in seventh place after the rain-shortened first day of the two-day, 14-team Princeton Invitational, held Saturday and Sunday at the Springdale Golf Club. “We had some rough conditions today but the Rider kids really hung in there and I’m very proud of them,” said Rider head coach Chet Dalgewicz.

April 2, 2006 - 5th of 23 at Towson Invitational

The Broncs shot a 294 on Sunday to finish with a two-day total of 584, good for fifth place at the 23-team Drew Upton Memorial Towson Golf Classic, hosted by Towson University.  Rider shot a 290 on Saturday.

April 1, 2006 - 4th of 23 at Towson Invitational-Day One

The Broncs shot a 290 on Saturday and are currently in fourth place after the first day of the two-day,  23-team Drew Upton Memorial Towson Golf Classic. “We played extremely well,” said Rider head coach Chet Dalgewitz.

March 19, 2006 - Rider 2nd of 15 at Lonnie Barton Memorial

The Broncs began their spring season by placing second of 15 teams at the second annual Lonnie Barton Memorial tournament, held Saturday and Sunday. “I was very pleased with the way we came out today and shot a 300 this early in the season on a very difficult course,” said Rider golf coach Chet Dalgewicz.

March 18, 2006 - Rider 4th of 15 at Lonnie Barton Memorial-Day One

The Broncs began their spring season at the second annual Lonnie Barton Memorial tournament, held Saturday and Sunday. “We’re just five strokes out of second place, so we’re right there,” said Rider golf coach Chet Dalgewicz.

October 3, 2005 - 7th of 15 at Leo Keenan Golf Invitational (St. Bonaventure)

The Rider Golf Team cut 21 strokes off of its score and had the second best round of the day Monday at the 15-team Keenan Invitational, hosted by St. Bonaventure. “Today I was very proud of our golfers, the way they turned it around,” said Rider golf coach Chet Dalgewicz. “We played to our potential today.”
