The Rider men were 18th of 28 teams and the Rider women were 26th of 26 teams at the 2005 NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Saturday, hosted by Lehigh University. Georgetown won the men’s race, and Princeton won the women’s race. “The men raced very well,” said Acting Head Coach Rob Pasquariello. “The 18th place was a tremendous improvement over past years at this event.”

Five members of the Rider University men's and women's cross country teams were named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Academic team.

Andrea Campbell
The Rider men placed fourth and the Rider women placed sixth of 10 teams at the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships, held at Van Cortlandt Park Friday. “As a team we ran well, we just got beat by better teams today,” said Bob Hamer, the Rider assistant track & field/cross country coach who handles the distance runners.
October 15, 2005 - 11th of 12 at Lafayette Invitational

Andrea Campbell
On a day when the times were considerably slower than usual due to the muddy course, Rider sophomore Jeff Stead (Fairless Hills, PA/Pennsbury) actually ran faster, finishing second among Broncs and 23rd overall, helping Rider place seventh of 11 teams at the Leopard Invitational, hosted by Lafayette College.
October 8, 2005 - 1st in Rider Invitational

Andrea Campbell

The rain and wind and mud were enough to cancel most outdoor events Saturday. Fortunately for Rider University freshman Andrea Campbell (Somers Point/Mainland Regional), the Rider Invitational cross country meet went on as scheduled. “I love this weather, the cooler the better,” said Campbell, who finished first overall in the three-team race. “It is easier to breath, so if I have to take the rain with the cool air, I will any day.”
