October 19, 2005 - Princeton 4 Rider 0

Kevin Long

In preparation for the upcoming Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship tournament, Rider scheduled one of the toughest teams in the area to play, Princeton.  “When this game was scheduled six months ago, it was to prepare us for the season finale against Loyola and for the MAAC tournament, and I think it did that,” said Rider head coach Kevin Long.

October 18, 2005 - Rider 0 Manhattan 0 (2ot)

Hannah Harris

Instead of celebrating the achievements of her teammates from the sidelines, junior goalkeeper Hannah Harris (Denville, NJ/Morris Knolls) was the one being celebrated on Tuesday after she shut out conference opponent Manhattan in her first collegiate start.

Michelle Matricardi
Rider freshman Michelle Matricardi (Abington, PA/Abington) won’t mind if the Bronc soccer team doesn’t get a chance to see the Magic Kingdom when it travels to Disney World for the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship tournament in two weeks.  “I’ve never been to Disney World, but if we’re too busy playing every day to see the park I won’t mind, that’ll mean we’re winning and still playing,” Matricardi said.
October 9, 2005 - Iona 3 Rider 1

Kelli Burke

After taking a 1-0 lead 18 seconds into the game, the Broncs lost a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference at Iona Sunday.

Lauren Terzyk

October 2, 2005 - Rider 2 Marist 0

Amanda Scully
There’s nothing like playing in front of a former coach to bring out your best. Rider freshmen Amanda Scully (Bloomfield) and Jenna Balestriere (Scotch Plains) played for Marist head coach Elizabeth Roper on the NJ Rangers club team the last two years, and the duo combined on the game-winning goal against Marist Sunday in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game. “I try to play the same every game,” said Scully, “but that definitely added something today.”
September 30, 2005 - Siena 3 Rider 2

Jen Vroman

When discussing starting line ups, some coaches have been heard to say that “it doesn’t matter who starts the game, it is who finishes the game that counts.” On Friday freshman Jen Vroman (Piscataway, NJ/Piscataway) came in off the bench and scored twice for the Broncs in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game with Siena.
