The Rider University men’s soccer season came to an end Saturday with a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference loss at Loyola. Dylan Matlack
The Broncs kept their playoff hopes alive with a come-from-behind Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference victory at Saint Peter’s Sunday. “This was a huge win for us,” said Rider head coach Russ Fager.
October 28, 2005 - Rider 0 Manhattan 0 (2ot)

Daniel Riverso
The Broncs tied Manhattan in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game Friday. “The score is pretty much indicative of the way the game went,” said Rider head coach Russ Fager. “Most of the game was played between the 18’s, with not many scoring opportunities. A very lackluster day for both teams.”
October 24, 2005 - Rider 2 Iona 0

Brian Laurinaitis
On ‘Senior Day’ it took a heady play by a senior to keep Rider’s playoff hopes alive. Senior Brian Laurinaitis (Jamison, PA/Central Bucks East) scored on a header to give the Broncs a 1-0 lead in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference win over Iona Monday.
October 21, 2005 - Fairfield 4 Rider 1

Mike Juska
When the season reaches the point where it is time to look toward the future, there is no need to look any further than number 20, freshman Mike Juska (Wall).  Juska took a long pass from red-shirt freshman Evan Lubcher (Milltown/East Brunswick) and scored his team-high third goal of the season to tie the score at 1-1 in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference loss to Fairfield Friday.
October 16, 2005 - Marist 2 Rider 0

Daniel Riverso
The Broncs lost a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game at Marist Sunday. “We played lackluster today,” said Rider head coach Russ Fager. “We seemed very flat.”
October 14, 2005 - Rider 1 Siena 1 (2ot)

Jacob Kratt

Junior defender Jacob Kratt makes the most of his opportunities. On Friday, he saw an opportunity and scored his first collegiate goal to help Rider tie Siena in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game. At Eastern University, he saw an opportunity to play on an NCAA Division III Tournament team if he’d become a goalkeeper.

October 9, 2005 - Niagara 4 Rider 2

Mike Colozzi

The Broncs lost a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game to Niagara Sunday in a game held on the artificial turf at Mercer County Community College due to wet grounds at Rider.  “We did everything right, we were enthused to play, we just didn’t get it done,” said Rider head coach Russ Fager.

October 7, 2005 - Rider 5 Canisius 1

Adam Bailey
After scoring just four goals in the nine non-conference games this year, Rider erupted for five goals in the first Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game of the season, defeating Canisius Friday.
October 1, 2005 - Richmond 2 Rider 1

Adam Bailey
In 2004 the Rider men’s soccer team began the season 0-8, but once the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference schedule began, the Broncs won their first three conference games and went on to compete in the MAAC Title Game. This year Rider has completed the non-conference portion of the schedule, and now looks to once again turn things around in the MAAC.  “Nine games down, nine to go, and these nine are the ones that really count,” said Rider head coach Russ Fager.  “These are the big ones."
