Rider’s Modrov Honored by MAAC

LAWRENCEVILLE—Brandon Modrov, a junior on the Rider University swimming & diving team, was named the metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Week for all competition November 29-December 5.

Modrov (Smithtown, NY/Hauppauge) wins the award for the second time this season.

Last week at the 12-team Rutgers Super Splash, Modrov won the 200 individual medley (1:53.03), placed fifth in the 400 individual medley (4:03.79), was sixth in 100 breaststroke (59.24), seventh in the 200 breast (2:08.22), and swam on 400 free relay team that placed third (3:06.81).

Modrov led Rider to a fifth place finish at Rutgers.
