Women's College Volleyball

Rider places four on MAAC All-Academic Team

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y.—The Rider University volleyball team placed four student-athletes on the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Academic team, it was announced Friday night.

Seniors Stefanie Lombardo and Embrey Minor, junior Megan Smith and sophomore Katrina Stehle were honored.

Lombardo (New Castle, Pa.), a three-time MAAC All-Academic honoree has a 3.39 g.p.a., and is graduating with a degree in Global Business/Marketing.  Minor (Davidsonville, Md.), a two-time honoree is graduating with a Music Education degree and has a g.p.a. of 3.45.

Smith (Webster, N.Y.), a two-time honoree is majoring in Secondary Education/English and has a g.p.a. of 3.58.  Stehle (Greensburg, Pa.), a Biology major has a g.p.a. of 3.60.

The Broncs completed the 2005 season with a record of 10-19, 2-7 in the MAAC.
