Rider’s Rosenbluth / Clark Honored by the MAAC
LAWRENCEVILLE—Freshman Josh Rosenbluth (Lawrenceville, N.J./Lawrence) of the Rider men’s swimming & diving team and junior Courtney Clark (Broomall, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) of the Rider women’s swimming & diving were named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference male and female swimmer’s of the week for competition October 31-November 6.
Rosenbluth, an accounting major, won two individual events to help lead the Broncs to a 127-115 win over Marist College, the school’s first win over Red Foxes since 1993. He won the 200 individual medley (1:55.40) and the 200 backstroke (1:53.35), and also swam on the winning 400-yard medley relay team that set a Coppola Pool record with a time of 3:29.43.
Clark, an Elementary Education/Psychology major, won three individual events in Rider’s meet with Marist. She took first place in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 10:46.13, and then swam the next event, the 200 freestyle, in a winning time of 1:57.37. She finished the meet by winning the 500 freestyle in a time of 5:15.92.
Rider swims at the University of Pennsylvania against Penn and Lehigh November 12.
