Rider’s Vroman MAAC All-Rookie Team
Four Broncs All-Academic

LAWRENCEVILLE—Jen Vroman, a freshman on the Rider University women’s soccer team, was named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Rookie team.

Vroman (Piscataway) played in all 20 games for the 3-15-2 Broncs, starting 17, and was sixth on the team in scoring with two goals and five points.

Named to the MAAC All-Academic team from Rider were seniors Aileen Ascolese and Kelly Oates, and sophomores Kim Carter and Michelle Ripoll.

Ascolese (Holyoke, MA) was named to the All-Academic team for the third consecutive season, while Oates (Bayonne), Carter (Chantilly, VA) and Ripoll (Point Pleasant) earn the award for the first time.
